RISE & SHINE BAKERY BULLETIN, Issue 146
Happy Spring sourdough fans!
You can start ordering NOW, to pick up your bread on Wednesday, May 8th! We anticipate our next delivery date after this will be in early June so stock up if you need to!
Because of the three-day fermentation of the sourdough, the bread is a great keeper. It freezes and thaws beautifully, and stays fresh on your counter for at least a week. If you’ll be out of town or have a conflict on a pickup day, just give me a call and we can try and arrange a different plan for your bread pickup. (907) 312 0592.
Here’s what we’re baking for pickup on Wednesday, May 8th: (please order by Sunday, May 5th):
Savory hearth loaf will be the KALAMATA OLIVE. Packed with olives our motto for this one is “wretched excess is barely enough”!
We will bake two sweet flavors this time: RAISIN AND TOASTED PECAN sourdough. And FRUITED ALMOND. Both make for a good breakfast, or an afternoon snack.
100% whole grain pan loaves will be ROASTED POTATO (100% whole wheat sourdough) and the ever-popular SPENT GRAIN sourdough.
THE BREAD ORDERING DEADLINE
You’ll need to order your bread by MIDNIGHT on Sunday May 5th, so we have time to plan our bake, feed our sourdough, and pre-ferment the dough!
